In November 2006, a not-for-profit national association designated as the "Quali MiddleEast Association (QMEA)" was established encompassing powder coating applicators of architectural components, anodizers of architectural, industrial, decorative and hard anodizing components, powder coatings manufacturers with approved systems and manufacturers of pre-treatment chemicals with approved systems in the Middle East and South Asia Region. Currently, QMEA has over 100 members that includes Applicators, Chemical Manufacturers, Powder Manufacturers and several Associate Members.
