Glazing Society of India (GSI) is an independent, not-for-profit technicalOrganization working on Building Technical Infrastructure, Testing, Research, Regulations, Education, Capacity Building, Codes and Certifications ofArchitectural Glass, Profiles, Glazing systems, associated materials and Glass Buildings for performance in the areas of Energy, Safety, Structural integrity, Acoustics, Fire Resistance and others. GSI is an inclusive body comprising ofvarious stakeholders from the Indian Glass and Glazing industry, builders,developers, architects, engineers, consultants, experts, policy formulation bodies, institutions and professionals. GSI in association with the respective Institutions has established three Research and Testing facilities for Glass and Glazingproducts at IIT Madras (SGRT Facility), CSIR-CGCRI (AGRT Facility) and CEPTUniversity (CARBSE) in India. GSI supports Government Bodies (BIS/BEE/DPIIT) in the formulation of Standards, Policies and Codes.
