Mantra Solutions, India, has collaborated with TWITCHELL, USA, to produce one of the best exterior and balcony screens. TWITCHELL is a hundred-year-old company from the USA that manufactures speciality fabrics. TWITCHELL fabrics are made from treated polyester yarn that can withstand harsh UV rays for ten years. They are also conditioned to withstand high wind pressure and adverse weather and heat conditions. The company offers 10- to 10-year warranties on nano and textilene fabrics. It produces fabrics for nets, screens and outdoor items of furniture. The fabrics have an openness factor ranging from 5 per cent to 55 per cent transparency.  Mantra Solutions is India's largest manufacturer of Insect screens for doors and windows. It has a fully integrated plant to produce insect screens for exports and domestic markets.

WEATHER SHIELD provides protection to balconies and large openings.  It is manufactured using ZIP technology to withstand high wind pressures. The company has imported a 6-meter welding machine to weld ZIP to Twitchell fabrics. These ZIPs act as a lock to resist wind pressures on the exterior screens. Weather Shield screens are used in premium and luxury high-rise apartments and villas. The product is also in great demand for homes near the sea and mountains. 

The company has established its first production unit in Mumbai. The decision to open the first unit is due to the high demand for motorised zip screens in West and South India.  The next factory will be opened in Bangalore. The export potential in Dubai and East Africa has a vast potential to sell zip screens.
